Nautical Accents

Mornin' ladies. Today I have a bit of nail art to share with you. Yesterday I showed you China Glaze Kinetic Candy as a blank canvas and today I will show you the nautical accents I added to spice up my mani. I adore this manicure because I am a navy wife and feel nautical is only too appropriate for me to wear. I hope you like it as much as I do!

Colors used:
     ● 2 coats CHINA GLAZE Kinetic Candy
     ● KONAD Black for thumb anchor
     ● ART DECO White for stripes

I free-handed the stripes and the anchor with an art brush. I have an anchor stamping plate that I wanted to use from SHANY, but the image was a bit small for my thumbs so I did it by hand. I topped the look with Seche Vite which smooths out any lines or unevenness you can get when adding nail art.

This is a look I saw on Pintrest and I HAD to do it myself. Unfortunately, I do not know where the look originated from but this was the pinned picture.

Thanks for popping in!
