ZOYA Bevin

Hello, girls! My June Birchbox has inspired me to go back and dig out a polish I received in my April box, ZOYA Bevin. I thought this was a pretty shade in the bottle and all, but I don't think I would have ever picked it out for myself. Well, I'm glad that it was picked out for me because I love this shade now that I'm wearing it.

Bevin is a dusty teal-ish sage green cream. It applied very easily and even in 2 coats. I think Bevin is a fun color for summer to take a break from the bright in-your-face shades with. It's also very similar to ZOYA Wednesday. I don't own Wednesday, but I have its color spoon to compare. While they are not dupes, they can seem more or less similar depending on the lightning. Bevin is a bit more deeper and leans more towards green where as Wednesday has a bit more blue to it.

Similar indeed. As far as stash size-control goes for me, I probably won't be picking  up Wednesday anytime soon. I do love the lighter look to it though... *sigh*

Enjoy the rest of your day and thanks for popping by!

  1. I like Bevin better! I didn't realize how similar the two are, but I feel like Bevin has more personality. I'd actually sort of written this one off, but I think you're right about it being a nice summer shade-- like those cooler, cloudy days that give a nice break from the sun and heat.

    1. I know right? I probably never would have gotten it if it didn't come in my birchbox, but I'm so glad that it did. I feel like this is a color that can work in every season and I like that about it.

  2. I couldn't decide between Bevin and Thanks a WindMillion and ended up getting Thanks A WindMillion because it was easy to run to Ulta. I love this light greens:)

    1. I wish there was an Ulta closer to me. Mine is about a 25-35min drive depending on traffic. Sallys, on the other hand, is only 5min away.

  3. How do you feel about the minis? Do you find them harder to use? I'm on the fence about the color cuties being minis. I tried mini OPIs and ended up frustrated. The lil brush got on my nerves and ended using them on the nails of a four year old which was actually perfectly sized lol. If the zoya minis are same issue then I'm thinking I'm better off deciding which ones I might actually use and going full size. What do you think about the zoya minis?

    1. The minis are actually really easy to use. The caps are the exact same size as regular bottles and so are the bristles. The only difference is that the stick part is shorter. I have a few zoya minis and I like them a lot.
